EDAR (Everyone Deserves a Roof) is a new invention from movie producer Peter Samuelson that serves as a tent and shopping cart for the homeless.

We distribute mobile shelter units through a network of partnerships in order to reduce the number of individuals sleeping in the open and to support their dignity and hope.

I slept on Skid Row, in an EDAR opn the sidewalk of St. Julkian Street alongside Mayor Riordan in his EDAR, so both of us could understand why there are at least 40,000 men, women and children sleeping rough in Los Angeles, 2 million nationally for whom no shelter beds exist, and how we can help them. www.edar.org
